Hi guys looks like we are getting closer to our road trip and thank you JP for taking the rein from JR….I’d like to find out if we are scheduling cooking menus for friday-dinner, Saturday -breakfast,lunch @ dinner and Sunday breakfast? I suggest we should divide the riders into groups and have their own menu to prepare on the assigned meals so we all equally share and not duplicate and waste food not to forget water. I am bringing firewood/charcoal, 10 cup rice cooker, gallons of water (10 gallons), and spices and ingredients for the food am preparing. I guess o our first night we should all just have like a whole group bbq galore and mind you am bringing 4-6 slabs of marinated ribs ready to throw in the grill!!! am also bringing my giant wok and utensils for more cooking galore. Please advice JP thank you.
Jr and XT got 1 @1/2 more week to work on

Just spoke to my friend 5 minutes ago who is in Gooseberry Mesa this weekend. His advice was to wear/bring light pads as the trail was technical. Also, make sure your brakes are in great condition because you will be using them alot so he recommended me to bleed them before the trip. Gooseberry is windy right now and is an hour ahead of us. There is a toilet where he is camping but he said it is about a 1/4 mile away from where they are camping. Other than that, he said it was awesome.May 11, 2012 at 12:05 pm #214205
Ok Guys last week before the D day. Divide riders per group is a good idea. Each car should be group
We should designate a place to meet and form the caravan. I’m not familiar with the area but I propose in the parking lot of Wendy’s on 14837 Beech Ave exit 116 the first one on the 15 after leaving 210. Let’s say 7am ready to go. Take your radio so we can communicate between cars easily.
Give me your feed back about thatMay 11, 2012 at 1:10 pm #214206
We are leaving from Azusa off 210 around 7ish but I am waiting confirmation from my chauffeur Vern 🙂

Bring bike lights just in case we decided to also ride at night.May 13, 2012 at 7:02 pm #214212
I’m still planning on leaving at 7 to account for lunch break and last minute supply shopping on the road. Perhaps we can meet somewhere in I-15. I will confirm with Jovy.
Also, we still have room for one more rider/bike/gear. I just need to know no later than Tuesday night so I have time to pick up my rack’s extension from the storage, so let me know asap.May 13, 2012 at 7:22 pm #214213
who else is willing to bring bottled water? JP is bringing 1 pack (24 bottled water).i am bringing 2 packs (48 bottled water). i think 3 packs of bottled are not enough for 20 people for 2 days.just to remind everybody that we will be needing water when we ride.tnx.May 13, 2012 at 8:11 pm #214214
